The kind of beliefs I'm talking about are subconscious beliefs. The beliefs that were instilled in you during your upbringing, beliefs that you didn't chose, and which you now accept as your reality.
All of us have received self-limiting beliefs during our childhood that continue to shape our lives now.
Psychologist often refer to these subconscious beliefs as "past-conditioning," "old tapes" and more recently, "outdated software" running underneath your conscious awareness.
You literally have thousands of beliefs in your subconscious. Some, of course, are healthy and support your ambitions; others are limiting and sabatoge your efforts.
"No matter what I do, it's never good enough."
"Nothing ever turns out right for me."
"I'm not smart enough."
"I can't trust people to support me, all they care about is themselves.
"I don't know how to manage money."
'I'm not attractive enough to get a boy friend."

I could go on and on, the point is that beliefs like this establish your reality!
As Henry Ford once said, "If you believe you can, or you believe you can't, your right!

Like most people who desire to improve themselves, you probably have read a number of self-help books, applied positive thinking, and created affirmations and or used visualization as a means to help you achieve your personal growth goals.
Like most people, you probably got mixed results. Research indicates that these technqiues are only helpful about 20% of the time.

Step 1:Identify the problem
The focus is on the present. No need to go back and rehash you past over and over as in some kinds of therapy.
Questions are asked about what you would like to achieve or change in your life. You determine the topic your would like to work on: it could be related to any area of your life that you are having difficutly with: prosperity, self-esteem, spirituality, personal power, health and body, grief and lost, habit control, anxiey, etc.
Step 2:Identify the solution
Once we can establish "How things are now." We shift our focus to 'How do you want things to be instead." We identify a solution by creating a belief statement.
Step 3:PSYCH-K® Balance
Once we've create a belief statement about how you want things to be in your life, we work on changing the old subconscious beliefs that are blocking your success or happiness. The set of instuctions given are call the PSYCH-K® Balance. Through the process, both hemispheres of the brain begin to communicate together on a subconscious level and your whole mind becomes "in sync" and begins to support your desired goals.
The balancing process may take a few minutes or longer. Everyone's experience of the PSYCH-K® process is different.
PSYCH-K® also works effectively with children because the balancing process is more "doing" than "talking.
Overall, a PSYCH-K® session is scheduled for an hour. This usaully provides plenty of time for the entire process.
